Indiana-just stop being a jackass!

     I am going to blog again after such a long hiatus because well, Indiana!  I keep seeing all this stuff on my Facebook feed, and because I am opinionated, I must respond.  This is the post that will offend all my friends.  My Christian conservative friends will be shocked and offended. My liberal friends will justify their closed minds and only see that their opinions and belief systems are valid or are worthy of consideration.  So be it.  There is so much hurt and suffering in this world. I really think we should just stop being mean, stop getting offended and be thankful for all the good in our lives.
     So here it is!  If someone comes into your place of business and wants to order a cake, have you take pictures, arrange flowers or whatever, just do it!  Bless them , love them, show them Christs love and compassion.  Pray for them to see what you do in Scripture.  Don't be a jackass.  Them walking out being hurt and offended will NOT lead them to Christ. Bake the ding-dang cake!
     If you go into a place a business and they refuse to serve you.  Take your business to the hundreds of other places who will gladly have your money.  Show your tolerance of other's belief systems.  Don't be a jackass!  Bless them, show them by your actions who you are. You are not a victim!  Why would you want to destroy a livelihood because of your offense.

That's it.  Don't be a jackass!

The President recently spoke at a meeting of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus. He explained to those good people how he would like to "work his way around congress until Nancy Pelosi is speaker again." I have never in my life seen a politician with as much arrogance and stupidity! What the heck is he talking about? We all know he is cheating, lying, Chicago style Democrat, but to openly flaunt his disdain for the Constitution, he was sworn to uphold is infuriating. If George W Bush had said something like that, the bloodsucking media would have crucified him. It is all Ho-Hum with Obama. He is either really stupid or really evil. I guess because he is so sure he is right about EVERYTHING he can just by pass the checks and balances built into the system. I'd like to go line by line through the Constitution with him, the great Constitutional law professor, and explain why the checks and balances are in there. Grrr... I'm worked up. Tonight, I don't care who gets the Republican nomination, I just want this man gone! I think I might have Obama Derangement syndrome, because I can't even stand the sound of his voice any longer.

Now for some good news, Yeah for Republican Robert Turner who quite handily won the special election in New York's 9th Congressional district. He beat out Democrat David Weprin by 53 to 46 percent in an area with a 3-1 Democratic Advantage. If this doesn't send a message to the Bozo-in-Cheif, nothing will.

     Today  because I decided to work out like I was 20 instead of 40, the blogging will be brief.  My eyelids are sore people!  It is a sad, sad state of affairs for these old muscles.  If you see someone crying in the Y's parking lot tomorrow morning, it will be me yelling at myself to go back in there and do it again.

    Enough whining!  The last debate was okay, we need to thin down the contenders though.  I like some of these people, but they aren't going to make it, so they should drop out.  There is a cacophony of political noise, we need to pare it down to a few people running so that we can properly hear what they are saying.   I'm still thinking it will end up being Perry/Bachman, and I'm still not so much a Perry fan.  I'm keeping an open mind though..   We shall see what happens in the next few months.

Debate and a Giveaway!

So there is another Debate going on tonight. At the Stultz house I will be in charge of watching and reporting to Jerry, as he will be busy watching football. I don't get how anyone could pick football over a debate, but then I don't get the appeal of those Housewives shows, so what do I know. Anyhow, I am excited. Another chance to see what makes these people think they are qualified to run a country.

Amazing Grace

Today we remember the horrible events of September 11, 2001. The suffering was unbearable on that day, and in many ways it still is. I hold tightly to the knowledge that although we live in a fallen world, where evil men can do something like this. Where famine, war, and natural disasters can and do destroy lives. God is still in control. This is a temporary stopping place, we see but a small portion of God's plan. My thoughts and prayers go out to all those who are hurting today where ever they might be. May God bless you and keep you always.
